Jordan Phillips is immensely excited to serve as the Secretary General for MeDMUN VII. She has been involved with MeDMUN from its inception, starting as a delegate, becoming a chairperson upon graduation, and joining the board as Undersecretary General of the Specialized Agencies. She is excited for her new role as Secretary General and hopes she can live up to MeDMUN's mission and values. Jordan participated in Model UN for three years in high school and was heavily involved in her high school program. Now, she teaches world history and economics at Grosse Pointe South High School. Additionally, she is the adviser of both the GP South Model UN club and the Climate Justice club. Jordan graduated magna cum laude from Wayne State University with a BS in Secondary Education. She is passionate about fostering an enjoyable and educational Model UN experience for all.
Undersecretary General of Crisis
Michael Iaquinto is honored to be the Undersecretary General of Crisis for MeDMUN VII. He attends the University of Michigan where he studies Environmental Science and Economics. Michael participated in Model UN for two years in high school, where he learned a tremendous amount about world issues and met many interesting people. As a part of the MeDMUN staff, Michael is committed to giving delegates a unique and exciting crisis experience that aims to guide delegates toward working together to combat a challenging situation. During his free time, Michael enjoys watching sports, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Undersecretary General of the General Assemblies
Alison Shereda is extremely excited to serve as the Undersecretary General of the General Assemblies. She attends James Madison College at Michigan State University where she studies International Relations. Alison attended MeDMUN I, II, III as a delegate and moderated the Security Council. At MSU, she is a part of the competitive Model United Nations team and is a junior staffer for MSUMUN. When she's not preparing for Model UN in some way (which doesn't happen too often) she watches vine compilations, online shops, and hikes across campus for coffee.
Undersecretary General of the Specialized Agencies
George Rabadi is thrilled to serve as the Under-Secretary General for the Specialized Agencies for MeDMUN VIII. He is currently a student at the University of Michigan: College of Engineering where he is studying Biomedical Engineering. George was heavily involved in his high school’s Model UN team for three years, serving on the Executive Board for two. He is also a rapporteur for MUNUM. As a member of the MeDMUN Secretariat, George is committed to providing delegates an engaging and exciting conference experience. When he’s not dedicating his time to classes or Model UN, he loves to tinker with technology or watch far too much Netflix.
